Three consecutive weeks of logging my workouts is definitely a new record for me. I hope this is a sign that Workout Wednesdays (my attempt to track my training, performance and goals) are here to stay.
Wednesday: Swim 2,500 yds
Thursday: Morning: Swim 2,000 yds
Evening: 4.6 mile Hood Run
Friday: Taught Spin
Saturday: 10 Mile Run
18 Mile Bike
Sunday: 60 Mile Bike
Monday: Morning: 2,300 yd Swim
Evening: 3 Mile Recovery Run
Tuesday: Track Workout 3 sets of 3×400, descending each set. 6.7 miles total
The Good: Finally getting some quality endurance training in over the weekend. Training with new people. Getting pushed in workouts. Hitting (and exceeding) my target intervals at the track.
The Bad: Being off Big Red (my bike) for 6 days.
The Ugly: Getting my ass kicked on my long bike ride.
Goals for Next Week: Healthy balance of fun/training over the holiday weekend. Add another quality run workout (either tempo or hills).
