Sometimes I don’t work out for two days straight. Not often, but sometimes.
Sometimes it’s the morning after my birthday and I get a sub to teach spinning for me so I can sleep in after a late night of indulgent wining and dining.
Sometimes I have a friend come in to town and not arrive on my doorstep until 10pm.
Sometimes I don’t go to bed until 4am.
Sometimes there are monumental events in my city, that start before the gym opens.
Sometimes monumental events take all day long and congest all of the public transportation in the city, forcing me to walk more miles than I can count and I tell myself it’s okay that I didn’t work out that day.
